3. Sherlock. And Joan. I guess everyone in the show, because I never expected to fall in love with it (I wandered over from the skeptical Sherlock!BBC camp)
4. Moriarty. because I never expected to be so crazy enamored by an evil psychopath. Or Molly, because I didn't expect to root for her so much. (if the question was "the character you never expected to lust after so passionately, Sherlock. that personality really accentuates the sexiness.)
5. Sora. I never thought I'd fall in love with him but then his voice actor grew up. dayum.

1. Why do you dislike #11 so much? (Irenelock)
It has a lot to do with how women are portrayed on the show, especially when it comes to Irene: she's an extremely sharp character, intelligent enough to outsmart Sherlock, and yet he defeats her when she falls in love with him. Really--women and their hearts, right? (note my sarcasm, by the way. I also prefer asexual/gay Sherlock better. His character would have to develop more respect toward a woman before I could ship him with her (hence my cautious Mollock ship).
2. Who do you know that ships #13? (KairRiku)
a Tumblr i follow that posts most of the KH stuff that shows up on my dash.
3. What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3? (Hilson)
Uh, the canon one?! Where House decides to devote himself to Wilson's last months AND THEY RIDE OFF INTO THE SUNSET TOGETHER ON MOTORCYCLES ...Even more ideal? that Wilson doesn't die an early death from cancer and they live happily together for more than five short months?!
4. What is your favorite moment for #1? (Platonic!Joanlock)
"I am better with you, Watson." WHEN THEY BECOME LEGIT CRIMEFIGHTING PARTNERS DUH That. scene. I'm so proud of the writers for how well it worked out, expressing a very sincere form of friendship (not romance) and depicting an equal partnership I honestly haven't seen in any other Sherlock/Watson relationships so far. Sherlock did most of the talking here, but you could really see their mutual respect: Joan's commitment to her friend (the characteristic Watson loyalty) and professional admiration for his work (very different from John's awe for his friend's godlike abilities) is met by Sherlock's genuine gratefulness and recognition of Joan's abilities and potential, which also really reflected his character growth.
5. How long have you been following couple #6? (Ike/Soren)
Since I started playing Path of Radiance years ago and I still have not beat it. I'm not sure if I'll ever get to play Radiant Dawn because that game is so freaking rare... #fireemblemproblems
6. What’s the story with #8 (n/a--I'll go with #7)? What made you stop caring?
Let me clarify--I'm still a ZeLink for life. I just haven't really been invested in Zelda lately, and that pairing is so iconic that it feels a little...cliche. It's become less interesting than obscure random pairings and slash or foe yay. Zelda was probably the first series I really shipped, so my perspectives have changed quite a bit (example: I've always been okay with MidnaLink, but after Elementary I'd like to think of them as platonic BFFs/partners than a romantic pair). It's also become harder to pair off Link given that his personality is so open to interpretation.
7. Which ship do you prefer, #2 or #4? (Sherliarty vs. Shulk/Melia)
Sherliarty fo sho. It's the Foe Yay and the fact that it's so much more compelling. Shulk and Melia are just cute; I'm a sucker for hero/princess ships with character development and sweet boy meets badass girl is just <3. But obviously, two well-matched geniuses meeting on opposite sides of justice is way more exciting. They are like mirror images of each other. And anyway, they're my top two favorites out of a cast of excellent characters.
8. You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 or #12. (MaLink vs. Cloud/Aerith)
They are basically the same cliche'd shit anyway. Hero paired with some hopeless-romantic Mary Sue he saves while on his adventures. Boring.
Given that, I'd purge MaLink because the whole Aerith being dead thing makes that ship kind of unlikely to go anywhere.

To answer the question, it's the best avenue for elementary slash so far. The gregsonlock punch just didn't do it for me. Also, Detective Fiiiine. 10. When did you stop liking #7? (ZeLink)
I guess when my consciousness was eaten by fandomming over Sherlock adaptations and its ridiculously complicated and heavy ships.
11. Did your waning interest in #9 (n/a) kill your interest in the series?
Guess I'll just have to answer for #7 again. No, my waning interest in the series killed the ship. But by kill I mean put to sleep because I will always love Zelda even though my priorities go elsewhere sometimes.
12. What’s a song that reminds you of #5? (US/Nihon)
Maru kaite chikyuuu... haha okay. Well, i dunno.. Koe Wo Kikasete [BIGBANG]?
13. Which of these ships do you love the most right now?
Platonic!Joanlock and Sherliarty are vying for the top. Joanlock because I'm obsessing over Elementary right now (AND THEY JUST BECAME OFFICIAL PARTNERS), but then again Sherliarty is an actual pairing.
14. Which do you dislike the most?
Cloud/Aerith is the worst, I think--worse than MaLink to me because MaLink wasn't very canon. I still really don't like Aerith's character. She's too perfect and too stereotypically feminine; between two games out of the dark ages of gender representation (a.k.a. the 90s), FFVII is way worse than Ocarina.
15. If you could have any of these pairings double date, who would they be?
Joanlock and Hilson for sure!! I'm sure House and Wilson could learn a thing or two from their less tragic counterparts. The level of bromance is pretty much the same; the neediness is just expressed in two entirely different ways: one destructively, and the other, constructively. It's no doubt that Sherlock and Joan need each other in some sense; they're both perfectly independent and self-sustaining individuals but they enrich each other's lives. House and Wilson, on the other hand, have this we're-no-good-for-each-other-but-we-need-each-other thing going on, and they just have lots of drama until the spectre of death forces both of them to put that aside and support each other properly. Sheesh.
Anyway, I think it'd be a hilarious date. But I think it would have to happen after Elementary sorts out Joan's medical past, or all the doctor baggage would just cause some mood-killing drama.
16. Have #2 (Sherliarty) kissed yet? Elaborate if yes.
Ha, as much homoerotic subtext as there was in The Reichenbach Fall, that bastard Jim had to off himself right when their faces were within makeout range. #spoiler?
17. Did #4 (Shulk/Melia) have a happy ending? Do you think one is likely?
sob i dunno because i haven't beaten the game! and it's so damn long that it'll be forever before I do. I'm guessing if anything, you might be able to choose who Shulk ends up with--between the Fiora/Melia love triangle. If not, Fiora will probably be more canon. Sigh. :C
18. What would make you start shipping #13? (KaiRiku)
If I decided I wanted Sora for myself and that Kairi is in the way. Haha, well that's already the case. I think it would require Kairi to be more interesting--KH women are not really the most compelling characters, which sucks. She's alright but a bit too Mary Sue for my taste. Maybe if I could see more potential between them...? I suppose since Kairi's heart is so full of light she would make a good balance for Riku/Mr. Darkness. She could be his dawn! awwww.
19. If only one could happen, which would you prefer, #2 or #6? (Sherliarty vs. Ike/Soren)
As much as a drool rabidly over the thought of Sherliarty happening, it's a destructive relationship that has run its course. Ike/Soren it is...
20. You have the power to decide the fate of #10 (MaLink). What happens to them?
Malon (let's say Ilia for universe consistency--they're both Epona's gurlfriend, whatever) meets this nice Hylian boy named Shad so she can move the fuck on. He's a total nerd, but there's something charming about his bookishness. He knows so much about the world, which is quite interesting to this small-town girl. In the process we learn more about the complexities of Ilia/Malon's character so she is less of a Mary Sue.
